About Hankscraft Inc.

Hankscraft Inc., headquartered in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, is a leader in manufacturing high quality engineered products, electronic components, sub-fractional electric motors, point of purchase advertising displays, tap handles and plastic parts. 

Hankscraft, traces its roots back to an engineer named Marshall Hanks of Madison, Wisconsin, who founded the Hankscraft Company in 1920.  Hankscraft became a company specializing in the manufacturing of small appliances such as vaporizers, humidifiers and baby bottle warmers.  In the 1950’s, inventor Sheldon Wengel, a Hankscraft engineer, saw an opportunity to use some of the components Hankscraft was manufacturing to animate point of purchase advertising displays. This propelled Hankscraft into a new market where it became a pioneer in non-static advertising displays.  From there, Hankscraft has used its engineering and manufacturing expertise to develop its manufacturing business focusing on business to business sales of highly engineered products. 

The Hankscraft group of companies employs 100 people in our two facilities in Wisconsin and almost 300 people in our Chinese operations.  Hankscraft is widely recognized for its high-quality manufacturing and dedication to exceptional customer service.
