2010 racing season should be interesting ...

As I look out my window and see snow on the ground, it is hard to imagine the we are less than two months away for the 33 rd annual Spring opener at the Rockford Speedway.  I always look forward to the Spring Classic as it is the beginning of the new racing season.  But it is a little like Oktoberfest weekend in that I also wonder what the weather will be like.  Those of us who have lived in the upper Midwest know April can mean 75 degrees, 25 degrees, or just about anything in between.

I don’t like racing at Rockford Speedway. I do like the stands, concessions, people who run it, and the configuration of the track; I just do not like what usually happens when racing there.
